Booking policy

Thank you for choosing our photography services. In order to secure your booking and ensure a smooth experience, we have implemented the following booking policy:

  1. Deposit: A 50% deposit of the total service fee is required at the time of booking. This deposit is non-refundable and will be deducted from the final invoice.
  2. Payment Method: We accept payment via cash, CashApp, PayPal, or Venmo. Details regarding the payment process will be provided upon confirmation of your booking.
  3. Confirmation: Your booking will be considered confirmed once we receive the 50% deposit. Please note that your session date is subject to availability, and we recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred date.
  4. Remaining Payment: The remaining 50% of the service fee is due on the session date. Payment can be made in the same manner as the deposit. Failure to make the remaining payment may result in cancellation of the session.
  5. Additional Charges: Any additional services requested during the session, beyond the scope of the original booking, may incur additional charges. These charges will be discussed and agreed upon prior to the provision of the additional services.

Privacy policy

At Captured Chimerism, we are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your personal information. This Privacy Policy outlines our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of images shared with us and emphasizes our commitment to never share your images without your expressed written consent:

  1. Use of Images: The images you take with us are primarily used for the purposes advertising or promotional purposes, but only with your expressed written consent.
  2. Disclosure of Images: We do not disclose or share your images with any third parties without obtaining your expressed written consent. Your images are treated as confidential and will not be used or distributed in any manner that goes against your explicit instructions.
  3. Expressed Written Consent: Before using your images for any purpose beyond the scope of our promotional needs, we will always reach out to you to seek your expressed written consent. This consent will be requested in writing, giving you the opportunity to review the intended use and provide your consent or denial.
  4. Your Rights: You have the right to control the use and disclosure of your images. If, at any time, you wish to revoke your consent, restrict the use of your images, or request their deletion from our records, please contact us immediately. We will promptly comply with your request and ensure that your images are no longer used or shared, except as required by law.
  5. Data Security: We take the security of your images seriously and have implemented appropriate measures to safeguard them from unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure. These measures include encryption, restricted access controls, and regular security assessments.

Archiving image policy

We strive to provide exceptional photography services to our valued clients. To ensure efficient management of our image database, we have implemented the following archiving image policy:

  1. Image Retention Period: All client images will be stored on our servers for a maximum period of six months from the date of delivery. After this period, the images will be permanently deleted from our database.
  2. Client Responsibility: It is the client's responsibility to download and save their images within the six-month retention period. We strongly encourage our clients to promptly download their images to avoid any inconvenience.
  3. Data Loss: We do not assume responsibility for any data loss incurred due to the client's failure to download their images within the provided timeframe. Once the images are deleted from our servers, they cannot be recovered.
  4. Extended Archiving: If the client requires an extended archiving period beyond the six-month timeframe, this can be arranged at an additional fee. Please contact us directly to discuss the options and associated costs.
  5. Privacy and Security: We prioritize the privacy and security of our clients' images. Our servers are protected with industry-standard security measures to safeguard against unauthorized access or data breaches.

WEATHER POLICY: NON-COUNTING CANCELLATIONS

At Captured Chimerism, we understand that weather conditions can sometimes be unpredictable and can impact scheduled appointments or events. To ensure fairness and flexibility for our valued customers, we have established a Weather Policy that states any cancellations resulting from inclement weather will not count as your one allowed rescheduling or a cancellation.

  1. Inclement Weather Cancellations: If, due to severe weather conditions or other weather-related factors, it becomes unsafe or impractical to proceed with a scheduled appointment or event, you have the option to cancel or reschedule without it counting towards your one allowed rescheduling or a cancellation. Examples of inclement weather conditions that may apply to this policy include, but are not limited to, severe rain, thunderstorms, flooding, significant snowfall, or any other weather event that poses a risk to the safety or feasibility of the appointment or event.
  2. Rescheduling or Cancellation Process: To take advantage of the Weather Policy and ensure that the cancellation does not impact your allotted rescheduling or cancellation, please follow these steps:
  3. Notify us as soon as possible: In the event of inclement weather, promptly contact us via the provided contact information to inform us of the cancellation or request a rescheduling. Timely notification allows us to adjust our scheduling and accommodate your needs.
  4. Provide weather-related details: When contacting us, please provide specific details regarding the weather conditions that necessitate the cancellation or rescheduling. This information helps us better understand the situation and avoid any confusion.
  5. Rescheduling options: If you prefer to reschedule, we will work with you to find a suitable alternative date and time that accommodates both parties. The rescheduled appointment or event will not count towards your one allowed rescheduling.
  6. Cancellation: If you decide to cancel due to inclement weather and do not wish to reschedule, we will count this cancellation towards your one allowed cancellation.
  7. Exceptions: Please be aware that certain circumstances, such as events or appointments specifically scheduled to take place in extreme weather conditions, may not be eligible for exemption under this Weather Policy. In such cases, we will discuss alternative arrangements with you to ensure your interests are considered.

Cancellation and rescheduling policy

We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, requiring you to cancel or reschedule your service. To ensure fairness and efficient resource management, we have established the following cancellation and rescheduling policy:

  1. Cancellation:
  2. If you cancel your service one week (7 days) or more before the scheduled date, you will be eligible for a 100% refund of the total amount paid.
  3. If you cancel your service within 3-7 days of the scheduled date, a 50% refund of the total amount paid will be provided.
  4. Unfortunately, if you cancel your service within 3 days of the scheduled date or fail to show up without prior notice, no refund will be issued.
  5. Rescheduling:
  6. You are allowed one rescheduling of services per customer, provided that you notify us more than 24 hours before the original scheduled date.
  7. Rescheduling requests made within 24 hours of the original scheduled date will be treated as cancellations, subject to the aforementioned cancellation policy.


Please note the following:


- All refund requests must be made in writing, either via email or through our official cancellation form, within the specified timeframe.

- Refunds will be processed within 7 from the date of receiving the cancellation request.

- Any applicable bank or transaction fees incurred during the refund process will be deducted from the refund amount.


We hope you understand that this policy allows us to allocate resources, time, and effort to deliver the best possible service. It also ensures fairness to other clients who might be interested in booking our services.
